South End Museum, Humewood Road, Humerail, Port Elizabeth

Housed in the old Seamen’s Institute (1897), this museum

commemorates the forced removals by the Apartheid Government

of the 1960s and 1970s from South End, the ‘District Six’ of

Port Elizabeth. Conducted tours of the South End Heritage

Trail by arrangement.
